About
The Metro Richmond Exports Initiative (MREI) is a non-profit program that’s here to help central Virginia businesses export their goods and services. We do this through special educational and networking programs, through grants and scholarships for export-related activities, and by connecting businesses with the resources they need to go global. We also work to make local businesses and organizations more aware of the benefits of exporting.

When it comes to fire safety, having the right equipment is just as important as knowing how to use it. When it comes to electrical fires, it is essential to know what type of fire extinguisher to use. Electrical fires require the use of a Class C fire extinguisher, as other types of extinguishers are not effective and could potentially be dangerous. When it comes to extinguishing an electrical fire, the most common type of fire extinguisher is a Class C extinguisher. Class C extinguishers are designed to be used on fires involving energized electrical equipment, such as appliances, wiring, and other electrical components. Class C extinguishers contain a special agent that is effective at shutting down an electrical current, allowing the fire to be extinguished safely. It is important to note that Class C extinguishers are not effective on other types of fires, such as flammable liquids or combustible materials. In such cases, a Class A or Class B extinguisher should be used. Additionally, it is important to make sure that the Class C extinguisher is rated for the type of electrical fire being extinguished.
